New sideproject :) :)
Me and my brother decided one late night after more than a couple of beers to put all the parts laying around on the garage floor together :)
This is what we woke up to the next morning :) :) And a massiv hangover ;D

And yes.. the tape is there for a reason.... To hold the parts together :) :)

FWIW, I'm not a shill for Race Tech - I've just got a thing for good suspension and the RTCE's are the most cost-effective mod for these old damping rod front ends.

Is there any reason why you didn't just use the GSXR swingarm bolt...?

I love this build, lol. And i am kinda digging the GPS idea, but curious, if you happen to be somewhere in the mtns where you cant get a signal, your kinda screwed on the speedo. Also how would it actually work with gloves and what not? If i am not understanding it correctly im sorry its kinda late lol

GPS works just fine in the mountains - it gets its signal from satellites, so it'll only be obscured if you're in a tunnel.

Yes:) I don't have it :) But could use it, had to drill larger (16 mm) holes in the frame instead of the original 14.. Could also use the dohc 750 swingarm bolt that is 16mm, it would fit the gsxr swing... But in case of using the gsxr or dohc swingarm bolt, you still have to make a distance spacer between the bearings....Many ways to do it.. :)

I usually have a god feel for how fast i am driving, by listening to the engine.. So even if i had to drive without a speedo it would not worry me much :)  :)

Even some tunnels will have land-based signals so that your GPS keeps working.  Mine worked in some long tunnel used by commuter traffic in NYC.

It depends a bit on the area and a LOT on the quality of the GPS.  My Garmin Zumo almost always locks on in the time it takes me to put on my helmet and gloves.  My Garmin GPS watch can take several minutes - longer if I start running before it locks on the signal.

I am confident the gps will work very well, I have used it in my car and had no problems :):)

Oil feed and return to the swingarm :)

Will also ventilate the oiltank from the bottom, the same way as the return with a slightly longer tube :)
