My Triumphs are dry sump and have no oil tank (takes sip of coffee and handfull of popcorn).

I think you are all acting like his 12 yr old daughter!  Would you all act like this hanging out in the garage or shop, face to face?  NO.  So stop acting like children who need some alone time in their rooms and get back to what's important here: helping out our fellow SOHC4 enthusiasts (whatever their knowledge/expertise).
It took 10 years but she's finally done!

Oh no, a shop or garage is never like a frat house, or the deck of a ship, or a barrack, or the pits at the track, or a dugout...

Nope, never.   ;D

Total newb here and wholeheartedly admitting it... But I have been curious of this as well. I noticed on a few of the wrenchmonkee CB750s there are no visible signs of an oil tank. Can they be run without a remote oil tank?

No. The bikes you are referring to have their oil tanks in the seat cowl. Look carefully for the oil lines.

While that may be true on this bike-

I don't see how you would stuff an oil tank under a flat two-up seat like these-

Are these running bikes...if they are there should be information as to how they are converted to run with no tank.

Well the second bike is a twin cam, but the last one is a single. So I didn't know if it was possible to run without a tank or if it must just be a show queen

If its a SOHC, it has an oil tank somewhere. Could be a section of the gas tank.

Or its a non-runner.

There's always the outside chance I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

What are these lines?  I can't really tell, but I agree with MC that these may go to an oil tank inside the fuel tank:

I wrote those off to a rear disc brake. But the bike doesn't have rear sets so the hose runs are rather convoluted.

There is a thick black one rising from center to upper left under the gas tank. That's why I thought they may have oil in there. Still not quite making sense though.

That would make for a hot crotch!

Is that some sort of literary device you learned about to attach to some sort of self-dictated quote.
Really, dude, I have a 12 year old who has to get the last word in, whatever the topic. You sound no more mature than she is.
Help people here . . . seek help here . . . but don't do it at the expense of others. Frankly, you look like an anus to me. PM me if you need pointing toward sites or boards where your bravado will go over well.
'sound like an anus' ??!!!!

take one to know one dude

If you guys don't cool it pretty soon I *might* have to be a bit more severe than just locking threads.

So.  Yellow card.
