Trail Tech VAPOR spedo/tach

Has anyone used a VAPOR tach on a CB 400f?
I think that if it works on a 2 stroke it should work on the 4 cylinder with 2 coils right?
since one coil fires every revolution, just like a 2 stroke, it should work??????

If it works on a 2 stroke it should work on a SOHC4.  I fitted electronic gauges on my 650 and it was pretty easy.  There is a link in my signature to how I fitted them.

Nice choice, I selected the same to use on my CB450 cafe.  I thought it would go well with the fairing I selected...

It will work, but getting the tach to work smoothly takes some fine tuning. I used a 1 meg pot between the coil + and the tach wire.
