bet it's a hell of alot of fun to ride though. run it up to 5000 or so and dump the clutch. bet it would make one hell of a roostertail of dirt. stud the tires and ride it in the snow too.

Just shows how versitile and reliable these SOHC4's are. ;)
OK fun's over, someone go buy that 550 and put it back together. ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Sounds like there is a spark plug missing.
If you have a dead cylinder, it will run better,(not good,but better), if you remove the plug.
Less resistance that way.

Bong hits were done during the construction phase. And probably during the riding phase and most likely after the riding phase and probably as we speak.

I wonder if you could turn one of the carbs into a big bowl with a electronic igniter. Put a hose fitting in the missing spark plug hole, and end up with a massive power hitter?
Kind of like a camel back system, but would dehydrate instead of hydrate.
Cheech and Chong would be so proud!
