A Cossack?
« on: May 10, 2010, 02:00:17 PM »
I'm always amazed when I find a bike I never heard of before, this one probably lurked behind the Iron Curtain before being liberated.
Check out that front steering, industrial as!
The engine set-up reminds me of the early Honda Goldwings. ;D

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I'm not a Hard-Tail person, but that is a sweet looking bike!

Ha ha that's funny #$%* man, "remove this alternator before it destroys your bike"! :D
And the other funny comment, "this carb spits leaks and pours gas anywhere but into your motor"! ;D

The write up i remember had in it

Headlamp consists of two geriatric gloworms attempting to copulate.

Stopping didtance from 30mph---the horizon

Stopping distance from 50mph(if you can get it to go that fast) 14 miles past the horizon.

Based on early BMW held 8 pints of oil but if that went down to 7 the LH side siezed as it was supplied by "Splash" the pump only fed the RH side
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!
