I met CBJOE today, at the Rockers reunion. Here's some pics:

Note the Rocker Hillclimber to the left above!

Here's Joe

Lots of bikes

I see I really didn't get the feel of the meet, lots of bikes. Lots of tattoos.  Go to Melody Inn.com to see the host.  http://melodyindy.com/

Hey, that's my orange CB750!!!

Joe, it was good to meet you yesterday at Radio Radio... sorry I didn't have a chance to talk to you anymore than I did, but at that point in the evening, I was wiped out.

It was a great event and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, but I'm glad it's over.

Hopefuly, i'll catch you at the next vintage bike night at the steer in.

Yes, as I stated before, we do Vintage Bike Night the first thursday of every month from 6 to 9pm at the Steer In on 10th street, just east of Emerson.

All makes, models, and years welcome.

By my calculations....that would be tomorrow evening.   :)   Any of you going?

Hey Mark.  Come on down for the next one!  If you are not yet subscribed to the IndyVinMoto msg board, go here and register.  That way you will know what's going on here in Indy....

Would like to see everyone riding around Monument Circle that would be neat and they are closing it to traffic come August so might be the last time.

I was just watching the news and they mentioned that the plan for closing the circle to traffic apparently have been scrapped for the time being.  Some of the businesses raised hell about it (i.e. the Columbia Club) and campaigning by many of the bikers convinced the city to forget about the idea for now.  I guess that's good news....not that I drive/ride down through there very often.  Saw the story and remembered this thread.

Vintage Bike Night tonight folks!  Any of you going?  6-9 at Harold's Steer In (10th and Emerson).  Going out to wipe the bike down now and heading over in a little while.   :)

Last year they shut down meridian street south of the circle just for motorcycles. I'm sure they'll do it again this year so that's where i'll be friday and saturday night. You also can't miss the AMA flat track event at the fairgrounds. Ton's of bikes come in to watch that.

Hey Indy guys....apparently there is a MotoGP promo event tonight (Thursday) at Brockway Pub in Carmel (across old Meridian Street from the Meijer store).  It's in conjunction with a Euro Bike night event but all are welcome.  Saw it on the IndyVinMoto board.  Thinking about riding up later this evening.  Starts at 6 and goes til they close.  FYI.

It's almost here!

Can't wait for this weekend. Any other SOHC'ers gonna be out and about? If you see a crusty old 350F riding with a few XS650 bobbers, say hello!

YES!  I can't wait!   ;D  Planning to go downtown Saturday night and then to the race on Sunday.  I have a coworker who hooked me up with really great tickets for free last year....so i'm holding out hoping to have the same luck this year.

I started a thread here last night to see if anyone wanted to meet up somewhere on Saturday eve and ride in to the Motorcycles on Meridian event together...

http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=75958.msg846117#msg846117

Might be kind cool to have a group of old Hondas cruise in together.  I don't recall seeing any down there last year.

Went downtown last night just to scope it out.  Big turnout.  They had shut a few sections off because they were full, so I ended up parking just outside of the bike area on Market street and walked in.  May go again tonight and park inside and stay a little longer.  Great atmosphere.  Only saw three SOHC4's.  Lots of sport bikes and Harley's, of course.  Thousands of bikes and thousands of people.  The area consisted of monument circle and meridian street all the way to South street.  Wow.

I think that's the IPL building that lights up like Stars and Stripes?
