Topic: Pics and video of my bike running...finally, BUT

Well I finally got this running, but pipes 1 and 3 are cold when it runs. So I guess it is only running on 2 cylinders. What can I do to remedy this problemo? Here is a link to the video and some pics. At least it looks ok

tis looking good. as for running on 2, have you got the spark plug leads for 1&3 swapped. 1&4 is one coil(blue lead) 2&3 the other coil(yellow)

if both points are sparking then you've got your points leads swapped...or plug caps...folow the above mentioned instructions for blue/yellow leads...blacks together...

In your previous thread you found the yellow points wire disconnected. Have you confirmed that the blue wire is still hooked up for the other 2 cyls?

Totally wasting your time until you get some sort of air filter {stock airbox is best} and get some back pressure in your exhaust by at least adding a tailpipe. Carbs and timing are only a small part in getting your bike to run well..

Both points have spark. Excuse my ignorance, but where would my points leads be swapped? Do you mean my plugs wires or the actual blue and yellow wires?

One coil's spark-plug wires feed 1&4, and the other coil is connected to 2&3.

It either totally dies, or has little to no response at all.
