I pulled the chain again & examined the master.
The pins were worn quite a bit on the faces toward the center of the link - suggesting the link did stretch.
Sorry no pics.
Dunno where the kids hid the camera.

Seems like it, doesn't it?
I don't think it is/was, though. It ran fine for several 1000 miles then about 2 or 3 weeks ago the clunking began and got progressively worse.
