« on: October 29, 2007, 10:01:14 PM »
This is my baby, I do not want to sell it, but slow business forces the sale.  Needs a good home, this is the nicest CB160 you will ever see.

Or contact me outside of E-Bay to buy it. info@lossaengineering.com

Thanx Jay

Problem with your area is no one knows these old honda twins are desired, so they list their cruisers and sportbikes while the cb160's, 175's, 350's and 450's rot out back of a house, without being listed.

Yep. The trick is to find them and ask. If it's listed on CL, they either think they're sitting on a goldmine, or it's snapped up the first day.

I got my CB cause i remembered seeing it hanging out at a friends house as a kid covered up in the back of his parents shed and sure as #$%* when i asked if they still had it, it was still in the same spot and they looked at me like i was crazy when i asked them how much they wanted for it. ;D

Oh yeah, gotta surf craigslist pretty diligently, if you're in the market!  Gotta be ready to JUMP.

Another good thing is to go garage-saling.  Gets you into  the various neighborhoods and gives a good reason to peek in people's garages and the various backyards, etc.  :)

But, DANG, that sure is a pretty machine.  I've got a handful of pictures of that bike that I've downloaded from the web at various times.
