Not my cup of tea but this is one serious "barn find", already bidding has hit 2k!

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

I think it should go on display just as it is.
It's perfect!

Some clown is going to polish it up to within an inch of its life. Powder coat the frame. Then will come the 6 coats of two pack paint, just like it was when it came out of the factory. Not. Everything nickel plated will wind up chromium plated. All brass will shine and gleam. In short, it's going to get ruined.

I agree with gerhed, it's fine just as it is. Put it on a stand and leave it at the side of the shed just to look at.

I'd grow a climbing rose on it, would be a great talking point in the garden. ;)

It's got a front brake, so it has to be a '28 or newer. Engine looks to be a OHV as well, the flattie single didn't 'fill the hole' all the way up to the cross tube like the one on the pic. Neat find.
