Just to clarify ,my intent was never to have these rods live in a high rpm hell.I have stroker golden rods and MTC crank for that.I plan to put them in an 895 Henry Abe kit and put the motor in my Seeley Honda.I do have another stroked crank with a spacer plate(which I don't care for) I may put in this motor. This engine would be all about torque.I always wanted Golden Rods so if genuine and they're within spec I finally got them in my Golden Years.Yes, the motor will see red line occasionally(11'000rpm) but will spend most of its' life puttering along happily between between 2500rpm and 7500rpm.They will be magnafluxed and checked to see they're within specs, but regardless they shouldn't come close to seeing the environment the were designed for.
