we dont have smog testing here,however any smog equipment must be present and working on the car if it was factory fitted,mine only has a pcv valve,no charcoal can even,our cars never got airpumps either,we sort of skipped that and ended up with fuel injection and cats.we had lean burn and egr through the late 70s into 80s as well as retarded ignition advance governed by temp and gear position and other fiddly stuff that fails.,so long as your cars not blowing blue smoke its ok.australia wide.
