79 cb650 tank on 80 cb650

Hello, new here just got a 1980 cb650. Wanted to know if anyone has tried to put a 79 tank on an 80. the 79 tank is much lower and flatter which would be great as I'm making it a cafe racer. Thanks in advance.

Anyone have any good 80 cb650 pics for inspiration?

Any 79 tanks I've seen are taller(?) and longer.  I have one.  The rear mount will need to be redone.  And then the seat.
