I LOVE the SOHC disease...already collecting part for a bike that doesn't exist yet.  I love it.

This is an auction that just ended not to long ago on ebay.

The problem with looking at ebay for value is that just because the auction ended at a certain price, it doesn't mean that the winning bidder actually paid for it.  Some people bid just for fun.  Some people bid and then get buyer's remorse.  Some people bid, go to pick up the bike, and find out that there are problems with it that weren't disclosed in the auction.

Thanks for the update scrap. I have a couple of people interested locally. I'll give that a week or two and then then go try the dreaded ebay.

I realize this, but if you look at the bid history, you will see there was a lot of people bidding on it right up to the end.
Some of them with many transactions.
