Thanks KC, the flames on the ZRX turned out really different.
The fender is one of those weird finds on eBay a few month's ago, couldn't tell you where it came from. The seller had it on a 750F for a few years and then something happened and he was parting it out on eBay. It's a plastic fender with a metal brace rivited underneath so it minimizes fork flex. I really like the look and the finish is durable, it was just a lucky find.
The bike is stripped down to the frame for refinishing right now but I can send some build up pics if you want to give me your email address .... put "nospam" somewhere in your address to prevent vultures if you wish, or send me a personal message with it. I'll get some out to you Friday when I return home from a biz trip.
I can't wait to finish this CB750F Cafe' it will be a gloss black frame with satin black forks-oil tank-sidecover-comstars-tripleclamp and bright red tank and seat with red calipers.
