CB550 16" rear wheel (new question)
« on: May 13, 2010, 09:41:22 AM »
ok, reposting this from BIKE PARTS WANTED. this has become more of a tech thread. here's the link: http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=70109.0

my main question at this point is..

will a rear hub/brake from a '77 CB550K fit my '75 CB550F.
bikebandit's fiche shows them to be different part #'s...

does anyone know if that sleeve that comes out of the hub on the sprocket side is the same between 500's and 550's? got the 500 wheel on last night but appears there is about an 1/8" or so gap. ill have to pull the wheel off again and pull sprockets to see when i get home. just wondering if any have run into this...
thanks.
