Market Street --San Fran

The film was taken by a camera mounted on the front of a cable car.  It was filmed 4 days before the Great California Earthquake of April 18th, 1906. The number of automobiles is amazing for 1906.  The clock tower at the end of Market Street at the Embarcadero wharf is obvious.  I found it fascinating.
Rides: 75 CB750F, 48 Indian Chief, 67 Triumph TR6, 63Honda CA95
          83 XL600R in CB360 Frame
          3-wheel electric tilting cycle

That's pretty cool.  I like the "every man for himself" kind of road use going on there.

I got a chuckle every time there was a bicycle going faster than the cable car.

It's to think that most everybody in that clip has passed away. Such a great treasure. Thanks.
