Bike Auction
« on: January 03, 2011, 10:06:26 PM »
I get emails from this place every week. I don't usually look to closely, but I did tonight.
Once you get in you should be able to see the entire auction.

 Sidecar bike is pretty cool..
but even cooler bike #56 is a Honda 750 flat tracker, I kid you not... freaking cool..

But the descriptions are quite inacurate, some are described as Mikuni racing carbs, yet they have stock Keihins, hand bent headers are normal 4-1s, huge dual discs are stock Honda.. WTF is up with that.. ???.. ::)

That bike is described as a hand bent exhaust, Mikuni racing carbs.. motor mount and studs on exhaust appear to look like 77/78 stuff.. ???

I don't suppose the side car unit is road legal?
Would be a great work hack, imaging zipping down the highway at warp speed on that low bellied sucker! ;D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Speaking of auctions ... It's that time again for the Mid-America annual vintage motorcycle auction held in Las Vegas. Not many Japanese bikes available this year, but a decent selection of British and Harley. Two nice bikes on the auction block: a 1934 Crocker racer and a 1975 Suzuki RE-5 rotary:

That's the instrument cluster, sometimes called "the can".
