Hi All,

Can any one tell me, is there any difference between the fuel tanks for K0 to K6? Can i use fuel tank of one model to another?

I think the only difference is the fuel valve location. My K6 is on left side of tank.

My K2 has the gas tap on the left side; is this incorrect for the year (UK 1972)?

Also, will it affect the fuelling?

I know from experience that a 1974 tank will fit on a 1972, but a 1976 tank won't.
The cut out in the bottom of the tank is narrower on the 76 then the 72 & 74.
Didn't try fitting the earlier tanks on the 76 though, that may have worked.
