exhaust baffle question
« on: November 09, 2010, 01:23:21 PM »
i bought a 4 to 1 exhaust and i found out afterwards it does not have a baffle so measured the size of the inner diameter of the pipe and it is 1.85 inches and the only sizes that i have been able to find was 1.5, 1.75, and 2 inch baffles. which size do i need to get and how should i install it?

actually cancel the measurement of 1.85. i took the pipe off and measured where the headers connected to the tip/muffler and it is 2 inches. my question now is which baffle should i get and also should i wrap it in fiberglass for a better sound?

Have a look at http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/baffles.htm

Maybe make a phone call? their number is on the homepage http://www.crc2onlinecatalog.com/index.html

I'd wrap a baffle for better sound only after hearing it on my bike unwrapped.
