Ok so I have a 1980 cb650 with the pd piston valve carbs and i have a 81 cb650 with the cv carbs. Ok now the cv carbs have a stage 3 kit in them so i can run highflowing exhaust and it runs like a beatuy all day long now i want to do the same to the pd carbs but cant find a kit so i took apart the cv carbs and took out the new stage 3 needle and put it in the pd carb and it works its just a little longer buts its much thinner and i think would make the strait pipes work any ideas on if its bad to have a little longer needle?
