Refreshing non-rebuildable shocks
« on: January 27, 2006, 09:21:59 AM »
I have noticed many questions regarding rebuilding/ replacing old factory shocks, and being a poor college student I have been looking for a cheap solution for my K6. While searching, I found the following article [http://www.off-road.com/dirtbike/tech/saveshocks/] and thought about trying the idea as a temporary fix. Has anyone tried this before, and if so, how did it turn out?
Thanks

   CBJ,

Was just browsing and spotted this. Hey, might make an improvement on my 550K. Do ya think?

cbjunkie,
Thanks, I had no idea that new shocks could be obtained that cheap. Much better option than what I found.
