cheapo dental picks from Harbor Freight do a good job. :)

And even cheaper, next time you go just ask your dentist if they have a drawer full of old ones that you could have a couple from.
That's how I got the five I have.

  My big problem was that I was trying to work both holes at once and be gentle with it...  

Are you talking about motorcycles here or.......... ;D


Anyway, did you make sure you removed the wire clip that holds the boot on. Sometimes it stays in place right above the c clip when you pull the boot off.  It is hard to see.

That would be nasty if they weren't sterilized.
They run them through the autoclave before they go in the box; I asked.
