Just wanted to see how many members live in the area to gauge the possibilities of organizing a future meet . . .

But we were boys, and boys will be boys, and so they will. To us, everything was dangerous, but what of that? Had we not been made to live forever?

OK. So there are a few of us in the vicinity. I'm sure we all have a friend or two that we ride with in addition . . .

Reason for all being that I'm friends with the owners of Motorcycle Federation (www.motorcyclefederation.com) a great gear shop/cafe on 6th Avenue and Houston Street. They told me whenever I'm ready, they'd graciously host a Friday/Saturday night meet at their cafe.

They've got a really wide stretch of side walk for parking and pretty much secure the street in front of the shop so it's more than accommodating. I'd really like to bring the cafe scene to NYC and think this would be a great starting place.

Wildcat -  Thanks for the referral, I'll definitely reach out to the vintage moto fellas.

I'm in the East Village, and know a couple of other SOHC4's within a couple blocks of there. Let us know....

I stopped in the Motorcycle Federation store the other day. They were extremely nice.  The leather they sell is expensive to put it mildly, but they were very open and courteous.

I would love to get together too, but I also have no bike on the road right now.  Hopefully that problem will be solved soon.

Laser, sounds great. I'll definitely let you and everyone else here know when I set the date. Should be in the coming weeks.

Yeah their re-engineered leather gear is pricey because they are mostly one-off vintage pieces.
