We all know a tire w/dry rot is trash, but with a tube in it, what really could happen?

You could die in an accident because of front tyre failure.....thats all.... ::)

Mick

Well, if you put it that way, I may ned to order a new tire!

Do you need to rejet if you use K&N handlebars? Man, what a PITA! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

You are not buying it to return it to stock. You are buying it to have fun. Ride it, check it out. See if anyone involved has ANY paper work to support the build. If not low ball them and see what the counter offer is. If it runs well and makes you laugh then $2000 isnt that much to spend... IF it blows up then you get to rebuild it...win win either way! ;D
