Ohh...Sparkles
« on: May 16, 2010, 04:17:59 PM »

She followed me home from the music store yesterday. ;)

The head stock is my favorite part, so simple and clean.

The wife thought it was a "Daisy Rock" guitar because of the sparkle finish. Women for ya... :D

Danelectro is my absolute favorite guitar.

It's suppose to be more of a silver, but the owner of the store smoked non stop, so it has a gold tinge to it. :-\

The neck feels great, it also sounds good unplugged. I plan to give her a whirl through my amps later.

Best part......$100.00!
It has been sitting in the store for 8 years at least, finally I said "let me take that Dane off your hands".

I also found out that they call the pickguard shape a "seal". Pretty cool overall. Me likey.

I always wanted a dane. However, if my bikes are to see the road this summer, I need to be content with my V, Explorer, and SG.

A cool C note sounds way cheap. Nice find.

Is that an oldie or a re-issue?

cool, I looked at the ones for sale on E-bay, I'm still learning on an acoustic but wouldn't mind finding one.
