Wow, I just read your thread.  I grew up on a 1980 CR125, so I LOVE your color combo!  It reminds me of a mid- to late-70s Elsinore.  The gold throws it over the top.  Get it done, so we can nominate it for May's BOTM!

Looking very nice, like your paint choices.  The Honda decal finishes it nicely.

Great looking bike! Beautiful.

I love the tail, where did you get it from? I tried to read through the thread and find out but must have missed it.

Finally rode it yesterday to work in the afternoon, even had a guy on a CBR pull up beside me checking it out and commenting "nice bike, wanna trade?"
I got a lot of oohs and ahhs at the shop.
Pics will follow on the next sunny day we get around here.

Nothing like that 1st ride. ;)  I can see why you were getting all the comps.  Look forward to possibly seeing it on the road this summer, if your a little farther south, and I'm a little farther north. :D

That may be the coolest color combo I've seen on the site.  You did a great job (long-distance compliment)!

Awesome work!! Your bike looks gorgeous!  And I love the paint!!  I had an ol' 72' 125 Elsinore that had the same tank sticker and silver color... just that your red was it's blue.

Excellent ride you have there!!

That's gorgeous!  :o Did you have Carpy drill the rotors? I'm thinking of doing the same brake set up on mine when I get to that point.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind! After seeing yours I think I might do my frame something bright too, maybe fire engine red with black body work and white rally stripes down the middle? And blacking out the engine too!  ;)

Really cool looking bike.  Great JOB!

How are those pod air filters working?  I've read about guys having problems when deviating from the stock air box on the 750.  Have you had any problems?  What kind are they?

I ditched the pods and got velocity stacks from Steel Dragon Performance. Running good so far,no complaints(well only that my face hurts from smilling so much when riding it)
