How much to expect
« on: May 26, 2010, 09:35:51 PM »
I know this may not be the right place for this as it should be in the for sale section I'm just not sure if its worth my while to sell or if I should just keep the stuff. I just recently Bought a bobbed out 750, the bike is in perfect running condition but along with it the guy gave me a 1977 cb750k parts pike (not sure of running condition of motor yet. What I wanna know is how much I should expect from this parts bike if i decide to sell it outright or part it out. not looking for exact numbers just a ballpark guess.

The mags and the seat make me think that's an F maybe? K tank and engine finish. Is the rear brake disk?

Honestly I couldn't tell you I only said k because thats what the frame says. I havent got a chance to look at the parts bike as the guy I bought the bobber from dropped the parts bike off at my house in san diego after I had already left to go to VA for two weeks but I get back on sunday so I will have more pictures then here are a couple pics of the frame and engine number the guy mailed me.

I bought my totally complete K8 for $400 four years ago. Since then I have "invested" 74 million dollars in it. Currently it's it 20 plastic bins after tearing up the 405 for two and a half years

well in that case I'll guess ill just keep it. maybe slowly build the motor on the parts bike till its ready to swap into the bobber.

That's a very common thing to do, welcome.
