I got some sidecovers for a 69-70... but
« on: May 30, 2010, 08:37:25 AM »
Hi there, well what was a crappy sunday turned out real nice.

A while back i bought all of a guys CB stuff real cheap ($100) ;D... this afternoon he phoned and told me to come get some more stuff he found...

5x post 70 side-covers along with badges
2x pre 70 Side-covers (louvered), but here is what i'm confused about... the tabs for the side-covers. One has the normal rounded tabs the other has 2x flattened type tabs on the top and a rounded one at the bottom?

What gives? are these aftermarket/repair?
Are they valuable?

also got a rear assembly with 2 lights, original light,6 forks with gators...
Happy man today
Tx for the help

IIRC mine has the "flattened" tabs on top and rounded on bottom. ('73 750)  so they are probably factory. If you are selling a set, I am interested.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.

The side covers on my '77 750f are flat at the top, round at the bottom as well.
