1977 Cb750k to 1977cb750A gas tank

Does anyone know if the two tanks are interchangable? My 77k needs a tank and I'm wondering if the 77A tank will fit my frame. Thanks in advance for any knowledge on this matter.

Same tanks although at least some of the Autos came with a gas guage mounted underneath the flap.

They should mount no problem. You just wil not be using the gas gauge. Otherwise, fit should not be a problem. I was looking at a A tank on ebay but decided I did not want brown and if I have to repaint, then I will just do my own tank.
