I know he didn't, you said he broke down and he was running with the podium guys at the time but I didnt know which class he was running in. The ones he was mixing it with all got on the two podiums. He was #84.

I don't realy follow it to be honest, it was Dave's post that got me tuned in to Manx radio other than that, I had forgot it was on. I'm a saddo realy
That Guy Martin is some rider, I've seen him on TV at the TT and North West 200, some gower.
I lost intrest in the TT when it lost its GP status and the fact that most of the factory teams had pulled out due to the silly formulas that they brought in, it killed it for me, no 6 cylinder Hondas

It was  pre TT race's for classics at Billown circut on the Island, the MV in the morning race sounded awesome.

Liverpool is 27 miles closer to the IOM, no signal at all near Manchester, anyway, I thought you were allready on the Island?

I'm still at home sam, I can't get over till early Sat morning for the first race. Work is a pain in the bum but it pay's for my week on the Island  I'll post some photos once I get in the paddock if my phone lets me, got this one at the start of the Senior TT last year.

I was taking a photo of the back of his head Sam the other people got in on my shot  a couple of other blokes turned up a few days before for a gallop around the course so I took a few photo's.

I hate the fact that I won't be able to watch any of this. Just the live timing thing.

I just realized that what these guys do in 17 minutes, would probably take me 40 minutes at least. The whole track takes an hour and 5 minutes according to google maps. So if you leave trafficlights and speedlimits out of this, how fast do you think you could be round the track?

The amount of police around the course with speed cameras means that you have to keep to the speed limits on most of the course except the mountain (no speed limit), plus the Germans who forget what side of the road they should ride on make it a very difficult ride.

Just listened to the first days racing out in my shed on the wireless while putting the water pump back in my Kettle  , unfortunatley John Mcguiness retired on the first lap  , cheers for the link Dave

Guy Martin could have finished on the podium but picked up a 30 second penalty for speeding in the pit lane, he finished 4th and looked real nice in the retro 60s colours and black leathers.
