I was wondering what seat you have on that. It snugs up to the tank quite nicely.

Sorry all for taking so long to post about my bike, but life got hold of me and I was unable to work on the bike for some time. I have since completed the bike and will give a pretty solid update here along with some pics.

The seat is a Roc City Café Racers seat (http://www.roccitycafe.com/item.php?path=store/cbrs,) and it does snug right up to the stock tank nicely. I used 5mm neoprene as my “seat” or padding and employed the skills and steady hand of my wife to cut it out. She made a template first, then used the template to carefully cut out the neoprene so that the edges are smooth. The only thing I would have done differently (or will do next time), is to have filled in the bottom of the tank where it curves upward a bit because if you look closely where the seat and tank meet you can see a small gap. But, it has not been noticed unless I point it out.

Everything has been gone through, cleaned, lubed, and reassembled. The bike works like a well oiled machine. The digital dash is great and surprisingly the tach is pretty accurate. Some quick notes about the bike:
-   LED rear taillight mounted below the rear seat and follows the body line (CBR600 light)
-   Digital dash with tach, temp, mph, odo, trip, etc
-   Knee dents
-   Candy maroon paint by Smokey at Killer Kustomz in Dallas, TX
-   Halogen headlight conversion
-   R6 rearsets
-   105 jets with pod filters
-   4-1 exhaust dumped to the side (sounds sick!)
-   Completely rewired
-   All electronics are hidden, including the battery and the electric start still works great!

This was a fun build that resulted in a fun bike to ride! Here's a link to the photos: http://picasaweb.google.com/brown.matthewp/CB550Build?feat=directlink
