Ask Simon (lordmoonpie) the factory ones were fitted to quite a few street bikes in the CL/SL models.

NOS CL77 steering dampers appear on fleabay occasionally, but the going rate appears to be about $300. Ouch! However, Simon (Lordmoonpie) sells a neat little job (see pic) for a fraction of that which will fit the bill nicely.

Cheers

If your application is for the track, I'd go with something new like the unit offered by Simon..........If you want original appearance, I have used units for $50 plus shipping.  They are getting harder to find in reasonable condition. You will need to fashion a mount from the lower tree to either the frame or the top of the motor.

Chris - as Eric says I can do a modern "old style" non adjustable damper exactly as per the photo and similar to the CL77 variety. PM me if you want details - nowhere near Ohlins prices and they work very nicely indeed!  ;)

Dennis, will you save me a good one and get it to Mike in Boston for when I'm there in August.

Sam..........just saw your note...........I'll look through my stash to send to Mike...........I'll check to be sure it has some even dampening in the middle-range where it is needed.  More in a day or two.........
