I need to order some wire connectors, and I'd like to know what size wire the bike uses, ya know?

{Search doesn't seem to know that I'm not looking for info on the gauges in the instrument cluster, or how to gauge distance or how many people misspell gouge...}

The stock Honda wiring is in mm sqd........ i.e. it's metric not U.S. 'gauge'... but for all practical uses its 18 gauge stranded wire in the loom....

The wiring is 1 sq. mm area, the metric way of measuring. This is just slightly smaller than 17 AWG wire, which is basically not made. So 18 AWG is a bit smaller and 16 AWG is a bit bigger. I would use 16 for the high current wires (all blacks, red, and the ignition coil, alternator, rectifier, and regulator wires) and 18 for the rest. 14 AWG would be good for the red/white wire from battery to fuse block.
