Fork Brace for 550
« on: May 27, 2010, 03:25:01 PM »
Long time listener, first time caller!

I'm looking for a fork brace for my CB 550, I seem to be getting fork twist on hard braking. Anyone know of any good suppliers, preferably something that looks good, nicely machined etc. the Tarozzi ones I've seen look a bit 'industrial'.
Thanks.

Not many options. The only ones i've seen here are Tarozzi as well. If you round off the edges it will look better with your bike.

This may not be what you're asking, but have you considered adding a second disk to the front? It prevent the forktwist, and gives better braking at the same time. Won't cost much more than the fork brace if you can find a cheap second hand disk and caliper...
