Topic: 1978 CB750k replacement seat?

I've got a 1978 CB 750k with a seat I would like to replace.  I'm wondering if seats from earlier CB750k models would fit my bike (1969 - 77). I prefer the look of the flat seats on the earlier models. Is there anywhere where I might be able to find of list of seats that would fit a '78 750k?

I believe that you will find that the seat from a 77 will fit the mounting points of your 78 seat but not the earlier ones. I think that they even changed the side that the seat was hinged on.

Yes... the 77 and 78 are compatible.  The 77 is sort of flat while the 78 has a raised rear section.
