I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Terry "I gots to know" what "rattle can" paint did you use?

Thanks mate, it was just a rattle can candy gold, (company doesn't exist any more) it's a 2 part deal, first you spray the undercoated tank with a silver base coat, then overspray it with the transluscent gold. I then used a can of 3M brand acrylic clear laquer over the top, applied the decals, then cleared it again. I think you can buy the candy in rattle cans from "The House of Kolor" in the US?

I've got a couple of cans of the gold left, and one of candy maroon (what I painted my F2 tank with in a previous rattle can post) so I'll have a couple more candy gold CB750's in my garage this summer! If the sun's out when I get back home on the weekend (I've been working at an airforce base a couple of hundred miles from home all week) I'll take the gold bike for a ride and shoot off some more pics. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Here you go mate, I've just installed a new chrome Tranzac 4 into 1 pipe and repro K0 seat, the weather here is horrible so no riding, but the sun came out for a few minutes this morning so I shot some pics. Cheers, Terry. ;D

that Tranzac pipe looks like a modern version of the old Hanco 4into1. Love the colour..

That's right Mick, I've got a set of Hanco 4 into 2's that I've just installed on my K1, they're not as upswept as the Tranzacs, but otherwise, very similar. I first saw this system on Ben's F1 and thought that Tranzac were at long last building good pipes, I never liked their earlier pipes, but this one is a ripper!  ;D

Thanks mate, the Yoshi pipe that was on it is great and makes it sound like a race bike, but the chrome was tired and there were some small dings in the headers, so I thought it was letting the rest of the bike down.

The new pipe looks the biz, and has a pleasant, mellow note, so will be just what I need for a daily rider. The BOTM thing has really inspired me to do something special with the next bike, which will be my 1060cc RC Cobra replica, and I'll really try to maintain the standard! Cheers, Terry. ;D
