Fed-up with pranksters and idiot trolls with very low post counts who then 'go away' to annoy other Forums... so new rule for me.. no response....... and I'm so important on this Forum

And some ( dare I say most of these 'pranksters') are well established members here , being childish... beware that crap could change this Forum forever... so do whatever ya want.....

Me thinks you take yourself way too seriously dude,i like the serious stuff and the knowledge of the experts on here but there is also some great humor as well. If you don't like it then don't read it....

How do you explain a 'new' member with 1 post asking a nonsence question and being instantly responded to by a 'new' 1 post member..??

I have recently noticed a few of these low post counts are coming from people with rather low member numbers; was thinking that maybe numbers were being "recycled". Then it dawned on me that the guy on the for-sale forum, that wanted to trade his Lesters, post count never went over 1. This may be a forum problem: there have been data-base issues reported by the mods....

And yes, I think there is someone playing games.

This thread is already going off on a tangent so speaking of low post counts, I noticed on one thread that it says the original poster has two posts, but in the thread there were 14.

Do additional posts in the same thread not count? Here's the thread:

We all had low post counts at one time. I'm glad someone answered mine.

as far as the post count on the guy with lesters... Posts in the for sale section dont count like the rest. I have had it happen and have seen it happen more than once. It was noticed this time because the offer seems too good to be true. Spanner, you always seem more than happy to get all over someone. You should do like I do. dont read the peoples posts who annoy you.

If I think I can help someone, I'll give it a shot no matter how many posts they have. I won't thumb my nose at someone simply because they are a newbie., (I was a newbie once myself, and so was everyone else here.)

Sometimes the only dumb question is the one that didn't get asked.

Sharing information is in fact, why we are here. It's quite common to answer a question, and end up learning something when others chime in. (For some of us, some people know everything and don't need any help.) If you don't benefit from sharing information with others, then why respond in the first place?

According to SteveD's "Newbies start here" post in the intro section, you need to have at least 5 posts before you can post in the classifieds.

Is it perchance at all possible that someone with a low post count might possibly be a SOHC enthusiast too?

Did you always know 100% of everything you know now?

I for one spend a LOT more time reading than I do posting. Does that make me less or more knowledgeable? I've been around here since before this forum existed but I have under 300 posts.

I won't be judged. It's sad there is so much worthless drama around here though.

I realize it's suspicous for a 1 post member's question to be answered immediately by another one post member. However, I don't understand the benefit of doing so. Call me what you will, but can one of you explain the benefits of someone doing this? It seems pretty pointless to me. I've been a member for roughly a year, my post count is low, I know. I do alot more reading on here than posting. I feel one becomes more knowledgable that way. But when I do have a question, and I've already searched the forum, and come to a dead end, it is appreciated when more experienced members respond with accurate answers. This forum got my bike running for god sakes. I would hate for a biased to be placed against me, simply because of my post count. These are just my thoughts though, and everyones entitled to that, right?
