I had to laugh at this thread....

There are folks who come here to enjoy the fellowship of gearheads who love these old scooters... SOHC Honda's in particular... ( I'm one of those )

Much as I hate to say it.... I like hanging out with folks who love this junk... cause it's stuff that doesn't make you work to hard for a good time.... I have plenty of incredibly complex mechanical projects to keep me busy.... These little scooters just don't do that... they give me love virtually instantly...

Then there are folks on this forum that have Thousands of posts who are totally CLUELESS... mechanically ignorant and have near zero social value.... Yet some of you folks put up with them and often raise them to hero status for .... nothing more then the number of posts below their name.... WOW.... hmmm whatever...

Point being.... post count isn't as interesting as that Koala taking a bath.... ( Very cool pic by the way )...

my post count is low because i know enough about my '75 cb750 not to have many questions to ask and because i am not working on it right now so i'm not on this forum much and because if you do a search the majority of answers can be found

In general Spanner, I respect your technical know-how, and I'd ride with you, lend parts or tools...whatever... without issues. But I simply don't share this issue with you, it has always been this way to one degree or another.

Just don't become one of those guys who gets pissed off and leaves the group, we'll miss you and things won't be the same.

post count does matter somewhat, but sometimes people w a low post
count do have legitimate questions.
I try be serious to legitimate posts, but oftimes my humor gets in the way.

Love the kittin posts.

I will kill 1 seakitten for every non-response to my posts.

Its not a perfect world out there boys and girls, and that goes for this forum also. Come on people we are talking about motorcycles here. Nothing that is discussed here is going to save the world or cure cancer believe me. So no matter if your a newby with only 1 post or a oldie with 10000 just don't take stuff here too serious. Try to enjoy it and have fun with it.
