Emulsion tubes
« on: February 08, 2006, 02:38:42 AM »
Hello all,
Has anyone here found a source for emulsion tubes for the cb750?  I have searched high and low and I'm out of ideas.  Thanks!
My dog loves me for the person I try to be.  Either that or he's hungry.

Your best bet might be getting a crappy set of carbs off ebay and pulling the tubes out of 'em.  Have you tried ServiceHonda?

Out of curiosity, what happened to the emulsion tubes you have now?

I know they are out there because I bought some last year - problem is I can't remember exactly where I got them. I think it was from Sudco. Go to www.sudco.com and look under "Vintage Japanese Parts", they have a carb kit listed there for the 750K0, I think that includes emmulsion tubes but you will want to e-mail them to confirm this. I think the K0 tubes would work on most other models. If that doesn't work try DavidSilver, again just send them an e-mail and if they don't have them they can usually track them down. Sorry I can't remember exactly where I got mine but I'm sure its one or the other of these.

Good Luck.

Bikes parked out front mean good chicken-fried steak inside.

Because, Gordon, I drilled mine out and if I've gone too far, I'd like to have extras to go back to.  I followed Hondaman's advise on drilling them (although his advise may not have pertained to a '76 model)  I took all of the holes to .039" in four test rides.  I checked all of those sites out and I didn't find anything.  Next step is to start emailing them, but I figured someone here would know.  If I HAVE to, I'll solder shut a couple lower holes and redrill smaller holes, but all in all, I should be ok.
