Completed Cb200t and cb350t bikes I've built
« on: October 17, 2012, 08:13:21 PM »
These old hondas are my Hobby but somehow it has turned into a small business- it pays some bills and affords me more tools and parts for my 750!
I've built a few bikes for people here in the Denver area.  Here's a few twins I've built for customers.  The cb200t was built for a girl in Boulder who throws 1940's era ball party's that everyone shows up in  the era clothing and swing  dance etc. she wanted that era style bike and this is what I came up with. I'm fond of the tank work, I was able to rid the ugly rubber pad and riveted some stainless steel, turned out nice! Just wanted to share  :)

And the 350t

I had my 350 all polished up like that and then it blew up. Twice. Has yours been trouble-free?
I wouldn't turn down any old Honda knowing what can be done with them. Restoring a CB125 for my wife was one of the most enjoyable of all. Are you planning any more small bikes?
If it's worth doing at all it's worth over-doing.

The 350 always ran great but the carbs were always a pain to keep in proper working order(diaphrams).  I built my old 550 up to give to my girl to upgrade from the 350. Sold it to fund a trip to Laguna seca grand am race.
I agree with what you say on the smaller bikes, I had a cb125 and I regret everyday selling it. Such a wonderful bike to ride around town. I'm always looking for another but they seem to rarely come up for sale.
