coolio, dont think i've seen any of them in our classic meetings here in italy, their country of origin. Production run must have been pretty short.
Most Bim's i see round here are later kawi 900/1000

Any idea what was the event/show?

Hello,

I saw it in person two weeks ago in South Germany,....Classic World Lake Constance (Friedrichshafen) and have had a nice talk with the owner of this black beauty.
Ten were built, but only one complete bike and nine frame kits.
Two are loacated in Italy, two in Switzerland and one in Japan.

Never owned, but I did get to romp around on a Bimota with a YZF600 mill (YB9?) for a few days- Got lots of looks! Didn't stop for compliments, just rode the thing. It was red and gold-should have bought it.
Sorry for the derail-
