Scottish Voice Operated lift

My Acura RL doesn't like me to speak Kentuckian to it  ;D
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

thanks for that, I have the same problem when I meet people that don't speak southern.  ;D

maybe the tunth flur?ive worked with a couple of scottish blokes,with strong accents,great blokes ,you do undurstind thum efter a wee while of being in their pleasant company.

I was in the Airforce with a north shore New Brunswick frenchman you had to be in the squadron for at least 3 months before you could understand him if you spoke french or english it didn't make any difference, part of the problem he'd switch from english to to french in one sentence and back again.

I have been living in the USA for many decades and still
find myself speaking English/French often enough to get
strange looks and "What?' once in a while, moi.

Nah even the Newf's didn't understand him, but would at least laugh, the Montrealer's would just toss up their hands and walk away. One of the favorite expressions of the day was "Oh, for #$%* sakes" which with Tony translated into "Oh, for #$%* snakes" which has a certain ring to it.
