Heavy Duty CB750 Cylinder Nuts...
« on: June 05, 2010, 06:33:37 PM »
Some pics of what they look like. They use all the thread on the studs. I'm figuring out final cost as I have to machine them to get the right height.

Well...for one thing look at the flange thickness. Another point is full engagement of the heavy duty threads. Another is they are a 13mm nut.....more beef around the stud. Mick.....you know you want them......just say so. Those are on my good friend Ben's cb750.......it will be a kick ass engine. It has all the real good stuff from Carrillo's on down and up.

I can vouch for these, don't re-use puny stock nuts on your HD studs. This is a smart way to finish a build.

Mike,  I'll need some for the 750 this time.

Maybe if I would have used these I would'nt have a head gasket leaking on my 836 after just 400 miles.  >:(  I am pissed.

They look perfect, Mike.  I'd hate to start trying to torque down the stockers to 22lbs, and have them give up on me.

Put me on the list.
Take care,
David

When will I receive mine? Build starts soon. Only thing I've been waiting on for the last year are those nuts  ;)  ;D

Don't you worry about those Rob, you just need to finish the engine mounts and stainless engine bolts for me...  ;D ;D ;D

(P.S. Remember to PM me when you need to be paid or need a shipping address.)

I'll be picking up the chrome nuts (for the 4, short studs) Friday. i have a graduation party for my son on Saturday so it would be Monday in the mail.

Congrats to your son.

Family comes first, so if it's a later than Monday - no worries.  Just wanted to get a sense whether it'd be June, July, etc.

Thanks.
Take care,
David
