Hondamatic spark advancer

I got a CB750A Hondamatic motor cheap........but it's costing me a lot on broken and missing parts.  Todays find, the timing advancer assembly's pin in the back is really loose and falls out and the nubs in the front that the big nut locks on to have been striped off.  Running a 850 cc kit w/ cam,  well not running......just installed.

My question, should I be looking for a advancer unit from a Hondamatic or should I use a K or SS model?

Ha ha, just found your post and realised what you were talking about.
I'm still not sure if the auto one is any diferent from the Ks and Fs but you can have mine if its not been binned, I'll PM Mike my builder to see if he still has it.
In your PM, I thought you were talking about something electrical. :-[

They are the same as far as I know (late model type).

Samauto has one with 300 part number. Not sure what came on it stock. BILL

The spark advancer crosses to the following bikes:

1972 Honda CB350F
1974 Honda CB350F1
1975 Honda CB400F
1976 Honda CB400F
1977 Honda CB400F
1976 Honda CB750A

1978 Honda CB750A

use one of the advancers in the list it will work but if you are running a kit on it like you say I would go with the 76 750 A
