still need some help please!!, thought the stator wasnt working on the bike because the battery would die if the lights were on. the bike runs with lights off just fine, it has a new battery also. replaced the stator and it still does the same thing.  i have an idea that the rectifier might not be working....so anybody think it could be this?

The other thread you started is still active, it was just moved to the "Other Bikes" section because it doesn't belong in the SOHC4 tech thread since it's a twin.

yeah i see that thanks, but i just looked at that one and no one wrote anything else lol, and i guess any mechanic would be able to help me because its similar to like the 550 or 750 with a stator and rectifier..

Does it show it charging at 3500 rpms? those charging systems on thos 360s were pretty notorious for not charging at low rpms.

this is suppose to fix that problem...

or use a trickle charger.

 It's nothing like the 550 or 750, they are EMS, you have PMS.
 yellow wire from alternator runs up to light switch, need to check all harness connections and switch before condemning parts.
 Get a cheap multimeter
