That's an, um, "interesting" custom mate, and goes to show that not all customs are actually improvements over the original design.................  ::)
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Looks like an old Morrison reel mower got mated with a ten speed!
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Snapped a few pictures of this at a Walgreen's a year or so ago. Older fellow came out and kicked it to life and rode away.

Look closely for the cable actuated front disk brake.  A must have!

Yep, probably off a small Japanese bike, I remember that Honda used cable operated disc brakes on some of their bikes, and I think the other Jap bike manufacturers did too. Cheers, Terry. ;D

That's actually pretty cool Sammy, I know a few bikes were water cooled by some very clever owner/builders, any idea who did that one? Cheers, Terry. ;D

I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

No mate, the 750 Tiger in the CL ad is a great bike, whereas the 250 single that Hushy posted was a pretty ordinary little bike in most respects, although that one does look pretty, and with 955 miles is probably quite collectable, as long as you don't mind being beaten off the lights by Honda C90's, that is.............  ;D

Yeah mate, 4500 bucks for an "as new" classic Triumph is cheap motoring, and hell, you don't want to go so fast that you can't hear the admiring comments from passers-by, ha ha! ;D

That is nice Hushy, I've got a friend (who I haven't seen for a long time, I must catch up with him again soon) who used to race a TZ125 back in the 1980's, he's long since hung up his racing leathers (rides a Harley now) but he mounted the little Yam on a stand up on the wall of his "entertainment area". It's very pleasant sitting down having a beer from his bar and looking up at that little piece of racing history! ;D
