I did, and it was the WORST piece of s%%t of a motorcycle I have ever owned. Mine was the first year version, and Yamaha swapped out a ware-house full of motors, under warranty, due to numerous issues. I was unlucky to have bought one that did not get the newer motor. It leaked oil worse than my 1953 BSA, and was the most cold-blooded bike I've ever started. I bought a full gasket kit, as well as the factory manual, and after reading the service bulletins in the back, and talking to my local tech, decided it was a lost cause. I bought my SOHC, and sold the TX for less than half of what I had into it.

     Did it ever run good? How did it run after a full tune up fresh out of the shop..,did it have decent power & acceleration ?

Visited a guy down in bloomington, in.  He's got about 40 bikes.  Mainly went to look at some DT360's and a CL350.   
I guess the guy liked me, cause he insisted i take this for a ride.  WOW!


T595 , and its not a 595cc :P

it rode great, very powerful.  im not a sport bike fan or rider.  I respect them. But the riding style is not for me. amazing bike tho.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Here is pics of my1969.  BMW R 60/5 that I modified and raced on classic meetings for couple of years. That was originaly police bike, than was converted in some kind of freak chopper . Work on it two years, now it is 998cc 85 hp nice, good handling and fast racing bike.

Hey that's a beautiful BMW race bike Buca, I'm playing with a R100RS project at the moment, tell me what you've done to achieve 85 BHP mate, I love my "Bavarian Murder Weapon", but I laso have a 2007 Triumph Rocket III, and the BMW feels a little bit underpowered in comparison? Cheers, Terry. ;D
