Love that John Deer bike, wonder how long the green paint lasts once the engine heats up?

If its true John Deere engine paint.... it will last for ever.. At least based on the tractors around here.

 But regular Krylon paint in the old days, stayed on clean and primed Honda bike heads.. just fine....
 There is also scads of engine enamels out there for watercooled car engines that will probably work fine..

 Save the heatpaint for exhausts & barbeques...

This beauty has to fall into the Wondeful category. ....maybe not $6500 though!  I remember the DT range well, hard bikes you couldn't kill, if the posiforce (or was it Autolube?)oil system failed you just added two stroke to the tank and you were good to go.

Made your Matchbox go through the corners super quick also Seely built frames for them, my dream bike is a Seely g50 Matchbox with Ceriani forks, dual disks, 6 speed box and alloy or magnesium every thing weighing about 300 lbs and about 55 hp to rear wheel and lighting.
Unless I win the lotto it's a dream, sigh.

That looks like a Bultaco Lobito or Alpina with Metralla bodywork Hushy, they were great bikes, the Metralla's, my mate and I got our arses handed to us between Young and Bathurst in 1983 by a Metralla pilot, we thought we could throw our CB750's around that tight road pretty darn quickly, but the Bultaco man left us in his choking blue smoke!

Yeah mate, they made a 100cc and 125cc Lobito, but ostensibly they didn't look much different from the other Bultaco air cooled two stroke singles. Cheers, Terry.

On one of the vintage bike days at Summit Point, there was a teal green 1200 Goldwing with a flat sidecar like that. The passenger was a teal green CB400 Racebike.
