Yep, probably off a small Japanese bike, I remember that Honda used cable operated disc brakes on some of their bikes, and I think the other Jap bike manufacturers did too. Cheers, Terry. ;D

No mate, the 750 Tiger in the CL ad is a great bike, whereas the 250 single that Hushy posted was a pretty ordinary little bike in most respects, although that one does look pretty, and with 955 miles is probably quite collectable, as long as you don't mind being beaten off the lights by Honda C90's, that is.............  ;D

Yeah mate, 4500 bucks for an "as new" classic Triumph is cheap motoring, and hell, you don't want to go so fast that you can't hear the admiring comments from passers-by, ha ha! ;D

That is nice Hushy, I've got a friend (who I haven't seen for a long time, I must catch up with him again soon) who used to race a TZ125 back in the 1980's, he's long since hung up his racing leathers (rides a Harley now) but he mounted the little Yam on a stand up on the wall of his "entertainment area". It's very pleasant sitting down having a beer from his bar and looking up at that little piece of racing history! ;D

There was a beautiful Vincent Cafe Racer at the Ballarat Swap meet today Jon, it was a Vincent engine in a Norton Featherbed frame with shiny alloy race tank and etc, I would have bought it for you, but I didn't have a lazy 40,000 bucks sitting in my wallet at the time.............  :o
